Thanks for coming to Varit on 2013-09-20

Thanks to everyone who came and supported the Varit and Iznt crossover event last Saturday. We really loved the experience and if you couldn’t make it, we’re sorry, because you kind of missed out big time.

As a personal thank you to the people who liked this page and as a thank you to those who came out last Saturday, here is a live version of “Synchronise”.

If you care for such things, the lyrics are as follows:

———————
SYNCHRONISE
———————
life sways sideways…
like only you know pain…
you’ve been singled out by the Three Fates once again…
no one appreciates the cruel time you’ve been through…
coz no one suffers like you do…

sheah, right!

when an old man dies…
a library burns…
and what he’s learned…
fills his urn…
we’re gone, gone… (blink!)
& we’re gone, gone… (blink!)
& we’re gone, gone, gone, gone, gone!

now, don’t misunderstand me…
I don’t mean it’s all sad & bleak…
just notice life synchronizing…
& beauty as it’s expiring…

coz if you’re not prepared…
for death, it seems unfair…
nobody gets spared…
especially the ones you care for…
& I’m speaking here with personal authority…
my dad exists in photos now…

& I am grave… make no mistake…
but there’s no escape… from death’s slow rape…
we’re gone, gone… (blink!)
& we’re gone, gone… (blink!)
& we’re gone, gone, gone, gone, GONE!

now, don’t misunderstand me…
I don’t mean it’s all sad & bleak…
just notice life synchronizing…
& beauty as it’s expiring…

even the Great Wall of China has pores…
& your shortcomings …
incite your inner wars…
there’s no clause…
that exempts you from loss’s swords…
