Updated the Songs page
We’ve updated the songs page (finally), to include three new demos. Lyrics will be updated in the near future. The three songs are 1) UFWoe Catcher, 2) Synchronize, and 3) Metal In Your Mouth. Please let us know what you think, particularly of UFWoe Catcher, because we intend to use it as a promotional single.

Thank you to everyone who came to our gig! We managed to auction one of our t-shirts for 2,500 yen and the other one for 1,500 yen, all of the proceeds going to the ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL charity to raise money for the victims of the Tohoku and Christchurch earthquakes. Looking forward to seeing you at our next gig in August! 🙂 Special thanks to Paul Cornwell for taking photos of us. Special thanks to Elliot Fiedler for videoing us. We’re hoping to get some of the media taken of the night on this website in the near future.

Bang of Sun mini-residency at TRINITY
BAR TRINITY has been gracious enough to give BANG OF SUN a mini-residency. Three live shows on three different dates: the 3rd Sunday of June (6月/19日), the 3rd Sunday of July (7月/17日) & the 3rd Sunday of August (8月/21日). Of course there’ll be 3 different t-shirts to give away to a lucky audience member on each night. Each t-shirt is one-of-a-kind & all you need to do to win it is to buy a drink from the bar (it doesn’t have to be alcoholic), come up to the front of the stage & join in the win-a-t-shirt chugging contest. BAM! Free t-shirt!
Hopefully the Supergun Summer Shows will include some of the new original songs & covers that we’ve been tinkering around with.
Bang of Sun start the recording process…
As of May 3rd, 2011, Bang of Sun have officially started recording some songs for an upcoming release in the next few months. So far there are 4 songs that are well under way. Hopefully there will be around 6 or 7 songs in total when this round of recording wraps up. Here is a sneak preview:

Bang of Sun has a song on the Solid Ground compilation charity album, which was put together to raise money for the Tohoku Earthquake. The song we released is “Amber Circle” and it’s track number 41:
